Our Story

I'm Emily Johnson, and I founded Chusyyray in 2010. Like many tech enthusiasts, my journey began at 18, when I dismantled a 2008 Honda Civic to install a custom sound system. Around that period, OLED displays were just starting to gain traction. With a profound interest in electronics, my next venture involved incorporating OLED accent lighting, sourced from various suppliers. After selling a few kits to friends, I began expanding our product range. By 2015, it was time to take things seriously, establishing our first full-time location in San Francisco, California. Success followed through our innovative product lineup, tutorial videos, and customer-centric service policies. Our growth was steady, marked by the addition of numerous exceptional products and team members.

However, expansion brought its share of challenges, particularly regarding product quality. Our initial strategy involved importing components and relying on overseas designs, a common practice within the industry. While convenient, it became evident that true excellence required manufacturing control. This realization prompted a deeper dive into the manufacturing process.In 2017, we made a significant move to a larger facility and recruited our inaugural team of engineers. This shift empowered us to design and manufacture products in-house, right here in the USA. Starting with a single product, we swiftly diversified - progressing from basic OLED displays to interior lighting systems and eventually to automotive lighting solutions and smart home devices. The journey was fraught with obstacles, yet we persevered, making substantial investments to acquire unique capabilities essential for delivering superior lighting products. This included establishing a light tunnel for beam pattern assessments, acquiring environmental testing equipment for product durability checks, and implementing cutting-edge software for optical and electrical design to ensure superior performance.The journey spanning over a decade has equipped us with distinctive, specialized capabilities, complemented by an enduring passion for innovation. Today, we proudly stand as the leading aftermarket lighting manufacturer specializing in custom applications in the United States.
